Reeta is a writer, director and an award-winning editor. She has built an extensive body of work over the course of 10+ years in both commercial and independent film. In 2013, she graduated from the Cambridge School of Art with a BA in Film & TV Production.
Reeta’s short comedies have been screened in film festivals in Berlin, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cambridge and Norwich, and are known for their witty dialogue and playful characters. The stresses, deliberations and fundamental questions of modern life are at the core of her narrative explorations. The impending existential crises of her generation are a driving force in her work, and her ultimate goal is to help people laugh through their tears at the absurdity of it all.
Reeta works and writes in native Finnish and excellent English. She is based in Helsinki, Finland, with a remote editing setup and a superbly speedy broadband. She will also be available for international travel once things return to some sort of normal.
